Precision cleaning is essential for laser components: coolant-emulsion residues and chips left after machining can evaporate and contaminate laser optics if not removed.
The process has three stages:
- Immediate rinsing with a water jet to prevent residues from drying.
- Ultrasonic cleaning on the cleaning line to dislodge debris from holes, followed by rinsing with deionized water.
- Blow-drying holes and oven-drying components, then inspecting surfaces under a UV lamp.
