UAB “Sargasas” is implementing a project partially financed by the European Union
UAB “Sargasas” is currently implementing the European Union-funded project “Implementation of digital technologies in production processes” No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854-02-0049 (hereinafter referred to as the project).
Given the market growth potential, further growth opportunities are expected not only by expanding the range of innovative products and accepting orders from new customers, but also by increasing the company’s productivity. To achieve this goal, UAB “Sargasas” plans to increase production capacities and digitalize the production process. In order to ensure greater competitiveness and productivity, UAB “Sargasas” plans to implement an automated/robotic production process, which will speed up the production process and ensure that there will be fewer defects in the production process, and higher quality of work and products. During the project, it is planned to implement automation and automation technologies for industry and digital technologies of resource management systems. For the digitalization of production processes, production equipment will be purchased and a resource management system will be installed.
This Project is partly financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the measure “Industry Digitalization LT” of the Priority 3 “Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854 of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Programme for 2014–2020.
The total value of the project is 378,780.50 euros, of which 125,556.00 euros are from the European Regional Development Fund, and the rest is the company’s own contribution. The implementation of the project activities began in March 2020, and the planned end is in December 2023.
